THE SILVER PANDA – ‘WEREWOLVES OF LONDON‘ video still (2022)

Following on from the release of our ‘Freak Scene‘ debut LP in September 2022, mine and Maree Choie’s ‘weird covers’ group The Silver Panda released a stand-alone single in time for Halloween the following month. A version of Warren Zevon’s ‘Werewolves Of London’ given a Silver Panda spin. We kept more or less to the ‘Freak Scene’ formula, but went for something slightly less mellow and sun-dazed and more suitable for the sort of Halloween party we’d like to be invited to… The percussion is more up-front than anything on the LP, we added some Clavinet into the mix, and Maree introduces her newly acquired flute for the first time…
